When The Sky Comes Undone

What is this that comes?
This raging magnificence.
Tumult from hell roils the sky,
In it’s sharp softness,
It’s beauty belies it’s undoing,
Rising above loftiness,
Illuminating lightning striking,
Lowering its devastation,
Destroying all calmness,
The very sky comes undone,
It verily blocks out the sun,
Moving like the slow rolling tide,
But this across the sky,
Harming all in its path,
Leaving nothing in tact,
Demanding our attention,
Reminding us of sin,
Quietly thundering through our skin,
Melting our steadfast resolve,
Going back to the begin,
Imploring the lost,
Enormous, glorious cost,
Very heavens are tossed,
Intrepid casting over above,
Speaks the soft voice of love.
